'Baby Steps'

I love getting the opportunity to work with and form new companies and learn more about their skills, and being on set for this film was such a learning curve for me. I played Reagan, the sister of Alfie, who is struggling to get through a miscarriage along with his girlfriend Rosie, and she doesn't enjoy the company of Rosie's family and friends. Although it was a challenge, I enjoyed creating a dysfunctional family dynamic with the other actors and using different improvisation techniques to bring these characters to their difficult lives. It also gave me the chance to play a role that adds fuel to the fire rather than being the peacemaker, which is my main typecast.
