'Pinocchio'

This was my first theatre production at Miskin and it was the first big show to open after the coronavirus pandemic. The show was double cast and I played the role of Kitty in the blue cast, who was the dumb sidekick of Fox and would get constantly get mimicked and pushed around by him. I loved getting the chance to broaden my skills by learning more about physicality, voice and movement for this process and make my version of Kitty individual to me as well as keeping to the original character. I also loved getting to showcase my musical theatre skills in this show and this was the first time I realised that I wanted to go down the path of musical theatre and explore more of this genre. This has been the most challenging but exciting process for me so far and I hope to get the opportunity to be part of a production like this again in the future!
