'Flat 18B'

This was my first chance to showcase everything I've learnt whilst being at Miskin as well as the skills I haven't had the chance to broaden yet. It was a challenge being given the task of writing, producing, acting in and editing a short film based off our own idea, but I used this opportunity to create something more lighthearted and realistic to the ages of the company. I wrote and produced a short film about university flatmates that don't get along and I found the perfect cast of talented actors who hadn't had their moment to shine yet, and I was really proud of the hard work I put into making my idea become a reality. This was the first chance I got to write and create something that was all my own and it made me realise how much I enjoyed writing screenplays, and that's something I've always wanted to develop.
